Well my new book, “We Are All Made of Molecules,” doesn’t come out till May 2015. But last week I had a wonderful luncheon at Penguin Random House hq in Toronto, to introduce the book to booksellers, reviewers, bloggers and librarians. What a hoot! My wonderful publicists had decorated the entire boardroom with MY books – I suggested they should leave it like this forever and always, but they didn’t seem to warm to that idea. 🙂
Kind words of introduction were made by my publisher and editor, then I spoke a bit about the book. It was a great couple of hours, seeing a lot of familiar faces and some new ones. I signed ARC’s, including one for the lovely Wendy Mason, who works at Chapters/Indigo Yorkdale location and hand-sells TONS of Canadian novels, mine included.
Best of all, there were t-shirts! It was a great afternoon.
And tomorrow (Thursday the 23rd) I’m back in Toronto, for an event at the IFOA on Friday morning, 10:30 – details here.

Hi Susan,
Hope all is swell with you and yours. I’m trying to get in touch with you about something time sensitive but can’t locate your email address anywhere. Could you give me a toot?
all good things, Zsuzsi
Susin Nielsen says
Zsuzsi! How nice to hear from you. Sent you my e mail via Kathy Chung.
Nathan says
Is WAAMOM (the acronym of your next novel is awesome) really coming out in May in Canada whereas it is coming out in February in France ?
Susin Nielsen says
Nathan, you are the first person to tell me it’s coming out in February in France! It’s so interesting, isn’t it? I now have a US publisher too, and it’s coming out in Canada and the US on May 12th. In the UK it’s coming out about a week earlier than that. So, France is publishing first, as far as I know! (AND they had to have it translated …)
Nathan says
It’s surprising !
On the press release I received with the book, the date seems sure: February 18th.
French are the best ! 😉
In any case, thanks and congratulations for this new novel I read in a few hours: it’s deeply touching…
